Mas’h with Long Hair
Question 18 - Women usually have long hair. What is the ruling for performing mas’h on long hair?
Answer: Mas’h on the head does not have to be performed on the scalp. It can simply be performed on the front part of the hair (just above the forehead) if the hair is short. However, if the front part of the hair is long enough to fall on the face when combed or can be flipped over to other parts of the head, a parting must be made and the mas’h must be performed directly on the scalp.
