Peace be upon you, O Representative (Khalifah) of Allah.'
Whatever there is, is in these two words (khalifat Allah).
When he shall re-appear, there will be a cloud over his head.
Angel Gabriel will call out: 'He is the representative of Allah, hence follow him.

What is the meaning of being the representative (khalifah) of Allah.
From the word Allah ('الله') if the letter 'alif' ('الف') is removed it shall become 'lil-lah' ('لله') ( which means for God).
From the word 'lil-lah' ('لله') if the letter 'lam' ('لام') is removed it will become 'la-hu' ('له').
Take out the second 'lam' ('لام') and it will become 'huwa' ('هو').
Say: He (هو), Allah is One. (Al-Ikhlas: 1)
In the beginning there is 'huwa' ('هو') and in the end too there is 'huwa' ('هو').
Say'… Look at the chapter (Al-Ikhlas).
The reason as to why this chapter was Amir Al-Muminin's favourite is this:
In 'qul huwa' (قل هو ) what comes in the beginning ? (The word) 'ha' ('ها').
What does the word 'Allah' ('الله') end with? (The word) 'ha' ('ها').
O He (huwa), O Who there is no One (huwa) except Him (huwa).
O Who, nobody knows what is, except Him (huwa).
A person who is the representative of Allah has this stature:
Firstly, can this status be described?
Secondly, he is 'the representative of his guided fathers' (Ziyarat-i Hazrat-i Sahib Al-Amr (as)).
Whatever (qualities) everyone else possessed are all to be found in his being.
