This incident which I shall narrate now,
it has been narrated by one of the antagonistic adversaries of the Shi'a faith.
Tabrani has narrated from Layth ibn Sa'd: 'I had gone to Makkah to perform Hajj.'
After my afternoon prayers in the haram, I went to the mountain of Abu Qubays for some fresh air.
On the top of the mountain I saw a person sitting.
I sat next to him. He said: ' یا رب یا رب یا رب ', 'O My Lord, O My Lord, O My Lord'.

On the top of the mountain I saw a person sitting.
I sat next to him. He said: ' یا رب یا رب یا رب ', 'O My Lord, O My Lord, O My Lord'.
After 'O My Lord' he said: ' یا حی یا حی یا حی ', 'O the Ever living, O the Ever living, O the Ever living.
He kept repeating these names.
In the end he said: " O My Lord, I want grapes, send them for me. I want a garment, cover me."
This is quite astonishing…
His speech had not ended when I saw there was a dish of grapes next to him.
There were two garments on the other side, as well.
He said to me: "Come" and I sat. He took a few grapes and so did I.
What is important is that he said: 'Whatever we would take, it would be replaced.'
After he had eaten those grapes,
he wore those two garments, one in the form of a cloak and the other as a loin-cloth.
Then we moved from there. He was ahead and I was following him.
I was astonished as to who he was,
who was not only fed by God but also clothed by Him as well.
Who is this person who, when he said: ' یا رب و یا حی '.
his food and garment was sent from Paradise?
We came down from the mountain and got mingled in the crowd.
This is important. He met someone who said to him:
O the Son of the Messenger of Allah, I do not have clothes. Give me something to cover myself.
Those two garments that he had, he gave them to him.
It is strange that he knew he would meet that person (who did not have clothes)
And would ask him for clothes. Hence he asked God for the same (clothes).
This is his greatness. After he gave his clothes I asked as to who he is:
The man replied: "This is Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)." His prayer has such an effect. His breath is thus.
If this country stands up on the day of his martydom,
these hawzahs, place their greatness before the people, if all of them come out in his mourning
One prayer from him will solve the problems of all of them.
