Translation and explanation Arabic
All praise is Allah’s. I testify that there is no God—deity worthy of worship—but Allah, He alone, without any partner
And I testify that Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his progeny) is His servant and His messenger
Wa ash'hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh
Oh Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhamamdin wa Aali Muhammad
Accept Prophet Muhammad’s intercession and raise his rank
Wa taqabbal shafa'atahu warfa' darajatah
Peace be upon you oh Prophet and Allah’s mercy and His blessings
Assalaamu 'alayka ayyuhan nabiyyu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh
Peace be upon us (who are praying) and upon the good doing servants of Allah
Assalaamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibaadillahis saliheen
Peace be upon you all and Allah’s mercy and His blessings (One should intend the real meaning of the word “you” in this sentence, although according to the indications of certain traditions, it refers to the two angels on the right and the left, and the believers.)
Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh
